To the Mikes: It's rare that a simple sort of app like a screensaver is considered critical. But ScreenThemes is just such a program.
When loading my new system ScreenThemes is one of the first things I loaded. I can't imagine not having the surprise of new wallpaper each morning.
This is a must have product. Keep up the great work.

I love sitting & watching the screensaver (especially with transitions enabled) or the wallpaper because the pics are so clear & sharp. I have 4 STAR TREK packs now & I love how they look on my desktop-the resolution & the clarity of the pics are great! I have looked around & tried Webshots, but Screen Themes leaves them in the dust! I would rather buy images & see the super quality then get them for free & see so-so quality. When someone comes over they look at the pics & simply are amazed! - Hi Guys, I felt that it was about time that I wrote a line or two to say how much I enjoy your Screen Themes product. Apart from the sheer quality of the images - the best I've seen on a pc - your website, software and regular newsletters are great too. I have that daily moment of excitement as I wait to see what new image will be loaded for my wallpaper. I use Screen Themes at home and now I've loaded the images at work too. I frequently find that when people come into my office and want to talk with me that their conversation suddenly trails off and I see them mesmerised by the images on my screensaver. "Wow - those pictures are great!" and "I've been there!" are frequent comments.

In all the years I've been playing with computers and the web, I have never before felt compelled to purchase software (or to send in comments like these). After all, there's so much free stuff out there. But Screenthemes I simply had to have. Now, half the people who come come into my office forget what they came in for and just want to look at my wallpaper and screensavers. Yeah the other guys may be free, but ScreenThemes still kicks their resolution buts all over. And they don't have Star Trek in all of ScreenThemes brilliance. I shudder to think how my computer could live without the Women of Star Trek, Best of Star Trek ships, and all the rest. You have a great product at a reasonable price that is worth the money I have invested. Keep up the great work.

- Suzi - I want to use this opportunity to thank you. The quality of your program specially the sharpness of the images is A+. I have a 19" Trinitron monitor and the video card is set on a high resolution, so the images look beautiful!! Even though I don't have the sound features enabled (I find them a little distracting), the pictures are so sharp that sometimes I feel transported to those locations. It is almost like I could smell the air and hear the sounds of nature in those places. So you guys bring a bright touch to the high stress environment of an office space.

I have looked all over the place for ways to get pictures for my desk top. Then I purchased the computer game Star Trek Hidden Evil, and on the CD-ROM there was a ScreenTheme sampler. I downloaded the program from the CD and was amazed with the quality. I went to the web site to see what else they had to offer for Star Trek. From that point I was hooked. THE best $23 I have ever spent! I will be keeping an eye on your site for new Star Trek stuff.

I have to thank you for these EXCELLENT photos!!!!! Your screen savers are one of the few quality products amongst a sea of software gimmicks and mass marketing and advertising hype!! It's nice to have something worthwhile on my computer. Whether I start the day with a bald eagle or an Egyptian camel, I dig the photography and it really jazzes up my display. But I feel compelled to tell you that Screen Themes has far exceeded my expectations of both quality of product as well as customer support. I've been subscribing to Screenthemes for a bit over a year now. I enjoy ranking the images I'm looking at, and then using only certain rankings for my screensaver. About a month ago, I ordered the Night Bridges pack -- reviewing my ranking on my pictures, I noticed that I ranked them all a 10! how could that be? but when reviewing my rankings, I saw that I truly couldn't rate any of them anything less. This is an extraordinary pack! Kudos to the photographer(s), and kudos to you guys for making them available to us. I got a new laptop for christmas. I am an "older-than-dirt" computer user. I have been working with/designing computers since 1967. I saw my first computer in Navy electronics school. Oh well, I was on an airplane last week, watching "The Bug Movie" (Starship Troopers) on my new, wiz-bang laptop. The guy next to me said that my laptop was better than his computer at home. Then he said, "Hey, I have the same wallpaper as you do. (Microsoft canned pic of a cougar). I said to myself; "That won't do!!!! I have to have wallpaper that is spectacular!" I searched around and found a few neat pics but they were either low res or didn't fit right, or they sucked. Then I found you guys. WOW!!!! Just what I was looking for. Many congrats on your latest upgrade - a really super job!! Am looking forward to making use of the 'sounds' but I really like the screen textures application. I play around with digital imaging and make use of a linen backed material for printing which gives the overall effect (almost...) of an oil painting. I love this upgrade!! The highlight is probably the calendar although the textures and the new transition effects are very cool as well. I have had a great deal of fun since discovering ScreenThemes back in April. Turning my PC on at work is fun every morning ( and your home PC/Work PC licensing approach is very much appreciated). So much fun in fact that I gave my wife a six pack as a present a couple of weeks ago. I have already downloaded so many packs that at the one day a picture rate it will be this time next year before I run through all the images (Dont worry I am still downloading new ones :-) ). This has GOT to be the most fantastic wallpaper app I've ever run
across! I'm not sure how you can create such stunning photos with
such miniscule file-sizes, but there's no arguing with the results.
Purchased it about 2 minutes after I installed the free trial!
I wish I had this kind of thumbnail browser for ALL my graphics.
I have tried a gazillion shareware and retail apps, some costing over
$100, but the thumbnails and interfaces are DOGS (no offense to
canines) compared to ScreenThemes. GREAT JOB! I love it, and I'm
ridiculously difficult to impress, really --- ask any of my friends,
they'd be MORE than eager to tell you what a picky and demanding
individual I can be!

You've done a superb job with Screen Themes! When I first heard that
Off-The-Wallpaper was ending and you were replacing it with a pay service I
was extremely skeptical. However, after viewing some of the sample images
I decided to pay the $19.95 and was immediately pleased! In fact, I
couldn't believe the quality of the photographs! They even blew away
Second Natures' wallpaper collections! Not to mention how many more images
you can get here compared to Second Natures' measly 22 for $9.95.

I just downloaded your software (and registered today). In my opinion,
it doesn't do your product justice to put it in the same category as
other wallpaper & theme programs. Just your options alone are amazing.
The view of the earth from space just loaded today. I really love it, and
will be sorry to see it go. Your utilization of the graphics has made it
incredibly realistic.
I don't mean to presume, but I hope you attempt to go "mainstream" with
this product...!

I have just downloaded three of my six ScreenThemes packs.
I have never in my life seen such extrordinarily beautiful
pictures. They have been photographed with such clarity, you feel as if
you are actually there with the photographer as he is taking the picture.
I would have honestly paid double or even triple the price to purchase
these, and to think, I still have three more packs to choose from at the
price I paid!
Again, I just have to say they are an extraordinary piece of work.
You have yourself a more than satisfied customer, and one that will be
watching for further developments and products by your company.

Don't you guys ever make a serious mistake? I just downloaded my first pack
(American Scenics) and was incredibly impressed! Since I live in Maryland,
I had to sneak a peek to see if any photos from Maryland were in the
collection. There were two!
See, I told you I'd get off my behind sometime and register your software.
Let's see now... where was that credit card all this time??? Oh, yeah! It
was... uhhhh... errrr... stuck in the living room sofa... Yeah, that's
right!!
I'm afraid I'm one of those people that shareware authors hate - one who
doesn't usually pay for, and register, their software. Sorry! But until I
found ScreenThemes and the DigiDay Clock, what was the point???

I am seriously impressed by ScreenThemes's ability to handle 256 colors --
enough so that I registered the program. I used one of NASA's Pathfinder
pictures for about a day when it was first posted on the web; but as a straight
.BMP file in 256 colors it was a pretty crappy sight. ST's version is *much* nicer!

When I first heard about Screen Themes I was skeptical. I figured that
through some searching on the web, I could find images myself. Then I
looked at some of your previews. I was convinced. Now, everyone asks me
where they can get such great images as well. I always direct them to your
home page and tell them what a great deal it is.
Everyday I get all my coworkers in my office to see the latest image. And
they are awesome!

Hi Mike, Thank you for the very quick same-day response to my question.
Using your advice as to what to look for, I remembered that
running an animated cursor caused problems other programs.
Going back to a standard cursor solved the problem.
Your program and the high quality of the images is exactly what
I was looking for. I have spent too many hours searching the
internet for the "perfect" wallpaper(s). I have several of your image packs
now and by the looks of the new packs that you have added,
I plan to add additional ones.

You have one of the cleanest-loading, smoothest sites I've ever seen.

Congratulations on a wonderful product, I have come across many sites
that promise all sorts of effortless additions and transitions and
"add-on's" that end up costing either more time or money than warranted.
I have a restaurant and a computer based business and both draw on my
insistence on the best product available on the market (in fact it
relies on it!). Although your product does not enhance my business, I
can't live without it -- and I applaud you for your obvious care and
attention to a flawless site.

I am enjoying my FIRST wallpaper shot! I was stunned when I saw it on my
screen, it was so beautiful. I'm still a newbie so I do not yet understand
all the features of the program, but having it automatically give a new

This is a great little program. Its nice to see
how a picture adds spice to the day. I have given out the demo to about
8 million people...(dont know if they ever ordered or not) but its neat to

and I would LOVE to see some more buildings or pictures of works by specific
architects like Frank Lloyd Wright or IM Pei.

Being Australian, it is difficult to find anything prettier than shots of
our Outback and Wilderness. Many postcards and pictures produced of
Australia do not stir the same emotions as seeing these scenes yourself.
NOT UNTIL I TRIED SCREENTHEMES!
Now I can see that God is just - he distributed equally plenty of beautiful
sceneries, not just to Australia. However I still can't wait to download
your Aussie Pack.
